A wide range of imaging-based research is conducted in the CCIR using an assortment of imaging modalities, including computed tomography (CT), magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), positron emission tomography (PET), combined PET/CT, and ultrasound (US). This research covers virtually all medical disciplines, with particular interests in: bone & joint, cardiovascular, endocrine & metabolism, neuroscience, oncology, and pulmonary research.
