Ultrasound: Up and Running

The Siemens Acuson Antares ultrasound machine is up and running.  This machine is fully loaded with the latest software enabling the CCIR staff to image virtually every type of exam requested.  It is ready to perform vascular, abdominal, cardiac, OB/GYN, musculo-skeletal, superficial, and small parts imaging.  It is also equipped with 3D and 4D imaging capabilities enabling us to perform 3D volume acquisitions of a structure and image in “real time” 3Dimensional (4D).  Paired with the Biodex Sound Pro Table, a fully functional ergonomically correct ultrasound scan table; an Aquasonics Gel Warmer; and the friendly highly qualified staff of the CCIR; the ultrasound experience is sure to be a pleasurable one for both the patient and the investigational team.
